AWANA stands for “approved workmen are not ashamed” and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15. The goal of the Awana ministry is to teach children who Jesus is, help them to learn the word of God and train them to apply the Bible’s teachings to their lives. It is our desire to partner with parents in training children to know, love and serve God.
The goal of our Awana program is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children. The program provides parents with a resource to employ in their homes as they seek to help their children memorize the word of God. Furthermore, we want to reach our community by sharing the gospel with the children in the Awana program and by demonstrating the love of Christ to them through the loving attention of Christian adults.
Awana meets every Sunday evening from 5:30-7 p.m during the school year.
